An experienced editor, working mainly in drama.
I started out cutting on film and have gone on to work on Avid and Final Cut Pro.
Work includes everything from feature films to TV dramas.
My interest in film started at school where I join the film club, after seeing the film ‘A Matter of Life and Death’, which blew me away. My first job was at Pinewood Film Studios as a freelance 2nd assistant editor, working on 35mm film. I worked on sound as well as picture and making the move to 1st assistant I worked with Terry Rawlings for nine years (working on Alien, Chariots of Fire, Bladerunner, Legend and Yentl). After working on so many great projects with Terry I made the break to picture editor.
Building upon my experience and abilities as an editor I have worked on projects as diverse as possible – including comedy, drama, animation and documentary. I have worked with many directors including Ridley Scott, Mike Hodges, Ferdinand Fairfax, Phillp Ridley, David Innes-Edwards, and Alex Kalymnios.
